MediSynergics is engaged in the research and discovery of novel therapies for infectious disease, central nervous system, and cancer diseases. The company was founded by former Pfizer colleagues Dennis Godek and Harry Howard, and as of August 1, 2016 became a member of the UCONN Technology Incubator Program (TIP) in Farmington, CT. The company established an organic chemistry laboratory for conducting the synthesis of new compounds. MediSynergics was awarded a two-year NIH-SBIR grant in April 2016 for a parasitic infectious disease project and has obtained eight U.S. patents to date. The company is planning future growth by securing additional grants and investor funding.
