In support of its mission to bring Connecticut’s life and healthcare sciences community together, CURE has launched a new website with a new web address at

“We’re excited about the new site and its capabilities,” said Susan Froshauer, Ph.D., president and CEO of CURE. “The site supports the three pillars of our organization — entrepreneurship, education, and advocacy. But above all it facilitates communication among the diverse members of the Connecticut science community. We’re co-creating value through the power of our interconnections.”

The new website features company and industry news, a calendar of community events, and a membership directory together with information on becoming a member. Visitors can sign up to receive e-mail alerts on important topics.

The website includes a new logo and the motto “Connecting Connecticut’s Science Community.” In keeping with the CURE mission, the site is set up to share messages through social media such as Facebook and LinkedIn.

CURE serves as the bioscience cluster of Connecticut, a diverse network of small and large life and healthcare sciences companies, ranging in focus from biotherapeutics, to healthcare technology, to medical devices.  Universities, scientists, educators, mentors, students, entrepreneurs, business experts, service providers and investors join in to begin to complete the breadth of the network.  As participants in CURE, we cultivate entrepreneurship, build bioscience companies and collaborate to ensure a sustainable, high-value bioscience and healthcare community that improves our quality of life and keeps the Connecticut community strong.
