CURE is pleased to welcome Dawn Hocevar as CURE’s new president and CEO, effective October 16.

Most recently she has been Vice President, Business Development at BioSurplus Inc., as well as President and Board Chair of Women in Bio, a leading non-profit with 13 chapters and 2000 members. She is a resident of Branford, CT.

As previously announced, Dr. Susan Froshauer is stepping down as head of CURE after four years in office.

“We want to thank Susan for all she has accomplished and we look forward to working with Dawn,” said Peter Farina, Co-Chair of CURE and Stanley Choy, Co-Chair and Treaurer of CURE. “Dawn has built a strong base of contacts and relationships in the life sciences sector and she understands how to work with public and private entities that support the life science industry in Connecticut.”

“I am very excited to work with the CURE team and Directors to help grow CURE into the leading organization/resource for the life science industry in the state of Connecticut,” Ms. Hocevar said.
