In Vivo Pharmacology& PK/PD Testing of Novel Therapeutics – Hosted by NorthEast BioLab

October 28, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Presented in partnership with NorthEast BioLab and Nobel Life Sciences.

Our featured speakers will focus on decisive in vivo and bioanalysis studies to help differentiate your drug compound through pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and biomarker testing from early discovery through lead selection, preclinical/clinical development, and beyond.

The webinar will cover:

  • Basic concepts of Pharmacology and PK in drug discovery and development
  • Review of drug exposure, plasma protein binding, biomarker, exposure-effect relationships, and in vivo efficacy model testing
  • Significance of PK studies during early drug discovery and development to fully interpret the pharmacological data
  • Understanding of preclinical disease models and the safety signals observed during toxicological studies
  • Utilization of in vivo PD biomarkers to gauge disease state, therapeutic response, or compound toxicity

Presenters:

Ryan Sheeler, Sr. Scientist, NorthEast BioLabs

Mr. Sheeler has 20+ years experience in drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical PK/PD Analysis and Reporting. His broad-ranging expertise spans study/protocol design, LC-MS/MS assay, and SEND/SDTM data preparation and interpretation. He has worked across oncology, pain management, antimicrobials, mental health, and cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, and CNS disorders.
