William P. Newsome

Bill is currently Vice President, Business Development at Evotec. Bill has extensive knowledge of the global drug discovery and biopharmaceutical landscape, drug discovery process and industry and technology trends. This has led to a consistent record of successful program implementation, from $100M+ shared-risk, integrated drug discovery collaborations to multi-million dollar custom technology development programs, new co formation, academic commercialization programs and requisite organizational goal accomplishment.

Joshua Gillum

Josh is a Senior Director, Business Development for US-New England, as well as a former Evotec Client. Josh has more than 18 years of experience in drug discovery, clinical-enabling development and clinical development. Prior to joining Evotec, Josh held Program Management positions at Idenix Pharmaceuticals, Dimension Therapeutics, and Navitor Pharmaceuticals. Throughout his career in the biotechnology sector, Josh managed more than 10 drug programs from discovery stage into clinical development, representing multiple modalities and indications. In five of these drug programs, Josh utilized Evotec’s drug development platform.

Michelle is the Director of Compound Management, East Coast, in Branford, CT. With over twenty years of experience, she leads the group in lab operations, process analysis and improvement. At Evotec, US in Branford, she delivers practical and profitable solutions to desired client requirements within a world-class organization.
