Scientifically Speaking: Breakthroughs in Heart Health – Hosted by The Jackson Laboratory

Please join us for The Jackson Laboratory’s virtual event series, “Scientifically Speaking,” on Tuesday, May 6. This series highlights JAX’s dedication to supporting the next generation of scientists through our unique blend of resources, research opportunities and educational programs. Our next installment, “Breakthroughs in Heart Health,” will feature two talented postdoctoral associates who are pursuing innovative approaches to heart disease research.

  • Lisa Wren, Ph.D., will present her promising new therapeutic interventions targeting the genetic mechanisms of heart failure.
  • John Bachman, Ph.D., will showcase his collaborative research project on the hazards of certain cancer treatments for heart disease.
