WIB-National: AI Innovation, Risk, & Responsible Adoption

November 2 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the life sciences ecosystem—unlocking unprecedented opportunities across drug discovery, clinical operations, and regulatory affairs. However, capturing AI’s upside requires navigating a complex web of technical, legal, and operational risks.

We’ll walk through a practical framework for responsible AI adoption in biotech and pharma. Beyond basic tool use, this presentation focuses on the core strategic responsibilities facing life science leaders and professionals today: managing clinical decision risks, navigating evolving IP and privacy obligations, and establishing real human oversight. This is relevant to those currently deploying AI, evaluating tools for their team, or building long-term governance, and seeking a strategic blueprint for balancing innovation with risk management.
