General Information:

The Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the approximately 40,000 Connecticut residents living with epilepsy. Based in Middletown, EFCT provides education, advocacy, and direct support services, including resources for newly diagnosed individuals and families, seizure first aid training, and statewide community programs such as the annual Epilepsy Walks. The organization also leads legislative advocacy efforts at the State Capitol on issues affecting the epilepsy community, including Medicaid coverage and healthcare access. EFCT partners with neurologists, researchers, and the broader life science community to advance epilepsy treatment, awareness, and quality of life across the state.
