Call for Applications: CASE – Connecticut General Assembly Artificial Intelligence Policy Fellowship

Deadline extended to February 7

The Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering (CASE) is accepting applications for a one-year CASE – CT General Assembly (CGA) Artificial Intelligence Policy Fellowship, based at the Legislative Office Building, 210 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT.

This is an opportunity for a scientist/engineer to engage at the nexus of research and policy on a significant policy issue. Eligible candidates must have a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a field relevant to the topic. The focus will be researching policies to further protect the data of Connecticut residents.

The 2025 Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair Seeks Judging Volunteers

The Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair (CSEF) is a yearly, statewide science and engineering fair open to all 7th through 12th grade students residing, or enrolled, in Connecticut schools and several New York towns. More than 300 judges across multiple categories are needed to help make the fair a success. The 2025 judging schedule will be as follows:

February 26: Project Portal opens
March 4 & 5: Preliminary Judging (virtual)
March 12: Finalist Interviews (in-person)
March 15: Awards Ceremony at Quinnipiac University
