2025 BioCT Legislative Breakfast

Our 2nd Annual Legislative Breakfast featured a full house, with over 250 attendees convening to advocate for the life sciences industry. A headline moment was Governor Ned Lamont’s announcement in favor of increasing Connecticut’s R&D tax credit to 90%, proving the positive impact of collaborating with key stakeholders and putting sound policy first.

Public policy remains BioCT’s top priority in ensuring a favorable ecosystem for patients, and for talent and companies to come, stay, and grow in Connecticut.

Thank you to Governor Lamont, Commissioner Dan O’Keefe, the co-chairs of the Bioscience Caucus—Senator Christine Cohen, Representative Jonathan Steinberg, Senator Tony Hwang, and Representative David Yaccarino—as well as all of the legislators for their willingness to engage and partner with us. In addition, thank you to our gracious host, Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease, as well as our sponsors, panelists, and presenters for your generous contributions.
