The Partnership for Innovation & Education (PIE) is a state-wide consortium of Connecticut universities, colleges, hospitals, research institutes and affiliated programs that share common goals to prepare and retain a 21st century health and bioscience workforce, and to foster innovation in research as a means to drive Connecticut’s technology economy. PIE fellows carry out hands-on mentored research in biology, genetics, engineering, computer sciences, or business; and receive training in entrepreneurship to facilitate the translation of research discovery into useful health and societal benefit.
PIE is funded by a provisional grant from Connecticut Innovations / CTNext. Corporate and private sponsors are needed to ensure PIE’s continued impact on Connecticut’s future technology workforce. Please see https://ctpieinfo.org/ for more information about the PIE program and about PIE Innovation Research Day.
