Introduction and Demo for SWFT: Social Distancing and Operation Platform/App for Research Labs – Hosted by UConn Technology Incubation Program

UConn Technology Incubation Program (TIP) invites you to a web demo of SWFT (“Safe Workplace Function Tool”), a solution to allow safe and productive use of the laboratory space amid evolving CDC & OSHA guidelines. The tool was created to enable scientists to easily plan experiments and reserve lab space in accordance with social distancing requirements and lab capacity measures. Interactive dashboards help scientists understand equipment usage and availability.

This tool has been developed alongside Obsidian Therapeutics and is being released for free as an open-source project.
