SBIR/STTR Proposal Development Workshops – Sponsored by CTNext

CTNext’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) AccelerateCT program was created to increase the participation of Connecticut-based firms in federal SBIR and STTR grant programs. These highly competitive federal programs improve a small business’s chance of advancing its technology and achieving commercialization, higher profits and job growth.

This October, the program will be offering six half-day training sessions to help research-based companies and innovators learn the ins-and-outs of the complex and demanding SBIR/STTR application process. Individual sessions will focus on Funding Basics; unique requirements of the National Science Foundation, Department of Defense, and National Institutes of Health; budget preparation and commercialization strategy development.

All sessions are free, but attendance is limited for these virtual sessions, so please pre-register as soon as possible. Details on each session and registration links for each session follow. Developing a proper budget for a grant or contract proposal should not be overlooked. A proper budget can be an effective tool in driving the project from start to finish.
