Speaker Bio
Usha Pillai, PhD, PMP
Dr. Usha Pillai has three decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, and consulting. She has deep knowledge of the industry and has been a consultant to biotech companies for over a decade. Usha serves/served on the Connecticut Bioscience Growth Council, the Advisory Board of the Biotechnology Academic and Career Pathway (BioPath), the Interfaith Volunteer Care Givers of New Haven, and the Garde Arts Center in New London, CT. Prior to founding Aria Management Consulting, which specializes in strategic planning, business operations, and program management, Usha held various positions with increasing responsibilities and complexities at Pfizer, Inc. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Usha holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, an Executive Master’s in Technology Management, and a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences. She also trained as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.
