Marcum LLP has announced the winners of the 2020 Marcum Tech Top 40, an annual program recognizing the fastest growing technology and life sciences companies in Connecticut.
Cara Therapeutics of Stamford was named the overall winner and also took first place in the Life Sciences category, with four-year growth of 23,023 percent. Cara Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing new chemical entities designed to alleviate pruritus, or chronically itchy skin. The company is currently in Phase 3 clinical trials for its KORSUVA brand injection and Phase 2 trials for oral KORSUVA.
