CaroGen to present at World Vaccine Congress

CaroGen reports that Bijan Almassian, PhD, President & CEO, and Timur Yarovin-sky, MD, PhD, Vice President of Discovery, have been invited to speak at The World Vaccine & Immuno-therapy Congress from November 28 to December 1, 2022 in San Diego, California.

The meeting draws together global scientific and industry leaders developing novel approaches to prevention and treatment of infectious diseases and cancer.

Dr. Almassian will present data on CARG-2020, CaroGen’s lead clinical candidate. CARG-2020 is an onco-lytic artificial virus delivering three transgenes: IL-12 to amplify cancer killing property of virus; IL-17A antagonist to inhibit inflammation and tumor growth; and small hairpin RNA (shRNA) to suppress the pro-grammed death ligand 1 (PD⁠-⁠L1) and reverse T cell immune exhaustion.more
