David Lehman, the state’s commissioner of economic and community development, said there will be a strong push to create hubs of innovation in industries such as manufacturing, health care, insurance and bioscience where the state already has an upper hand.
Lehman said those efforts are likely to be focused in cities, fostered by public-private partnerships that will strengthen networks of related companies that will benefit both cities and surrounding suburbs. more
