Danbury program focuses on student career prep

Career fairs, college visits, job shadows and internships may become part of the regular high school experience in Danbury over the next few years.

This is part of the Danbury school district’s focus on preparing students for career and college that is key to the $99 million career academy expected to open in fall 2024.

This academy will serve 1,400 middle- and high-school students and be built within three pods of the Summit development, where students can interact with the businesses there.
