NIA and NHLBI Entrepreneur Workshop Series

February 9, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Commercializing novel scientific products and technologies is complex—especially for startups. To support entrepreneurs along this journey, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is offering a series of entrepreneurship workshops for awardees and applicants seeking funding through NIH’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.

Join the National Institute on Aging (NIA) Office of Small Business Research (OSBR) and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) Small Business Program to kick off our first workshop, Opportunity Assessment, participants will learn how to pinpoint key areas beneficial to startup success (e.g., market research, healthcare economics, reimbursement). Attendees will have opportunities to connect with experts in breakout rooms for more in-depth support and answers to questions.
