Opportunities for AI/ML Applications

Traditional experimental approaches to innovation are being fast supplanted by “in-silico” approaches that utilize the power of data and knowledge that exists in organizations to automate and accelerate product design and manufacturing. Big Data and High Performance Computing have also transformed the way research is conducted and “new science” is discovered in physical, biological and social science domains.

In this presentation, opportunities for application of AI/ML based advanced analytics across the various stages of product innovation, starting from identification of consumer needs and trends to design and manufacture of products to building and enhancing consumer experiences with digital products will be discussed.
