Pre-Application Webinar: Preclinical Development of Novel Therapeutics Targeting Aging Mechanisms – Hosted by The National Institute on Aging

August 27, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

New technologies and treatments are necessary elements for improving the lives of older individuals. Are you developing novel therapeutics targeting fundamental mechanisms of aging (e.g., inflammation, cell senescence, proteostasis)? If so, the National Institute on Aging (NIA) may be interested in working with you through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) U44 funding opportunity (RFA-AG-21-026).

Join the NIA Office of Small Business Research (OBSR), the Division of Geriatrics and Clinical Gerontology (DGCG), and the Division of Aging Biology (DAB) for the pre-application webinar on Developing Preclinical Novel Therapeutics Targeting Aging Mechanisms. This webinar will provide prospective applicants with an overview of the SBIR U44 funding announcement and discuss NIA’s critical focus areas and research priorities designed for the U44. The NIA and ACL staff will moderate a Q&A discussion to answer questions regarding the scope of this funding opportunity announcement and technical details regarding your application.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to submit questions in advance of the webinar via the registration form or by email at Kiara.Palmer@nih.gov.
