If you are a training center, workforce board, business organization or community nonprofit, please join us for a lunch + learn at Waterbury City Hall on December 10. The Community Impact Pilot Program is designed to support community programs that drive quantum awareness, education, and workforce development. As 2024 comes to an end, it’s the perfect time to reflect on accomplishments and plan for a strong start to 2025.

Any other ideas? Share them with us in the breakout sessions. We want to learn from you on how we can partner together to bring quantum-related opportunities to our communities and workforce.

Keynote remarks will be delivered by the Commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development, Daniel H. O’Keefe.

A joint initiative between University of Connecticut and Yale University, QuantumCT is building the foundation for Connecticut to become a leading hub for quantum technologies. In May 2023, the U.S. National Science Foundation awarded QuantumCT a $1 million award to develop plans for a Regional Innovation Engine. We now are competing for Phase II funding, which is up to $160 million. This would secure Connecticut’s national and global leadership in the quantum economy.
