A joint initiative between University of Connecticut and Yale University, QuantumCT is building the foundation for Connecticut to become a leading hub for quantum technologies. In May 2023, the U.S. National Science Foundation awarded QuantumCT a $1 million award to develop plans for a Regional Innovation Engine. We now are competing for Phase II funding, which is up to $160 million. This would secure Connecticut’s national and global leadership in the quantum economy.
