Seminar: Latest MS Advances – Hosted by Waters

AGENDA:

10:00am: Arrival, Registration, and Light Refreshments

10:30am: New MS Technology Overview
A review of recent MS technology improvements from Waters. These foundational technologies will set the stage for the scientific data shared in subsequent discussions.

11:15am: Discovery Lipidomics in a Colorectal Cancer Study Utilizing the Xevo Multi-Reflecting Time of Flight MS
Featuring the use of a novel MS technology and data processing workflows within metabolomic studies, this talk presents a proof-of-concept study for utilizing the new Xevo MRT as a platform for biomarker discovery.

12:00pm: Networking and Lunch

1:00pm: Structural Biology
We dive into the higher order structure of proteins to understand the function, dynamics, and mechanisms of interactions using the Synapt XS, Select Series Cyclic MS, and the Select Series MRT. We will look at HDX, Intact Mass,Top-Down fragmentation and Native analysis.

1:30pm: Oligonucleotide Solutions
We review all aspects of oligonucleotide analysis starting from early work in 2002 all the way through the latest innovations in Cyclic Ion Mobility MS.

2:00pm: Closing Remarks
