Ivy Biomedical Systems, a privately-held Branford medical device manufacturer, has received approval to build a research and corporate headquarters building near the town’s border with Guilford and North Branford.
Ginny Kozlowski, chief executive officer of REX Development / Economic Development Corp. of New Haven, said Branford attracts a lot of health care and biomedical companies because of its proximity to Yale University and the ability to draw upon the New Haven area’s talent pool.
