JAX team to study cancer immunotherapy

The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) has received $2.5 million from The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research to study in mice the influence of host genetics on response to immunotherapy.

JAX President and CEO Edison T. Liu, M.D. and Associate Professor Laura Reinholdt, Ph.D., co-principal investigators of the study, will use genetically diverse JAX mouse models to untangle the relationship between genetics and response to immunotherapies.

The research team includes Professor Karolina Palucka, M.D., Ph.D., who is based at JAX’s Farmington CT campus. more
