As a global life sciences company, Abcam identifies, develops, and distributes high-quality biological reagents and tools that are crucial to research, drug discovery and diagnostics. Our Branford-based team aids in that mission by exploring a variety of different platforms, including phage display and RabMAb pipelines, to generate recombinant antibodies. We use these platforms to discover and mature antibodies to targets relevant to the research and clinical communities for the greater goal of understanding more about biology and disease.
Alongside our antibody development platforms, we are equally committed to ensuring the antibodies produced are validated in multiple final application assays to ensure we are delivering high quality binders with high specificity and sensitivity and which can deliver reproducible results. In addition, we are constantly expanding our offering with new complementary tools, including bioactive recombinant proteins and edited cell lines. We are developing and expanding our expertise in these adjacent areas with two goals in mind, 1) to ensure that we are developing and validating our antibodies against materials that are relevant to our customers, 2) we are able to provide the most comprehensive tool kit to the global research community.
