General Information:

Capital Community College, located in the center of Hartford in the historic G. Fox building, is an open-enrollment institution, committed to the metropolitan community it serves. Its mission is to provide higher education and lifelong learning to people of diverse cultures, abilities and ages, and to serve the needs of the community, government agencies and business. Admission to most associate degree and certificate programs requires a high school diploma or state high school equivalency certificate.

Capital students are provided with multiple support services, all designed to ensure their academic and career goals are met, including Financial Aid, Career Center, Counseling, Tutoring, ESL Counseling and Tutoring, Free Bus Pass, Free Parking and more.
But if you ask our high-achieving graduates what made their college experience life-changing, most will tell you that at Capital, they learned to believe in themselves. They cite encouragement unlike anything they had experienced in previous learning environments. That is what is special about Capital Community College and why so many students say it feels like home. We look forward to welcoming you to the Capital community!
