The Governors Workforce Council’s (GWC) strategic plan includes the bioscience industry. Several initiatives are underway to create more talent to meet the demand of our growing bioscience industry. For example:
~ Industry leadership discussions and direction to create solutions to match demand
~ STEM education K-12 and post-secondary to meet current and future talent demands
~ Supporting and expanding the career BioPath program
~ Professional education courses
In support of the strategic plan, we are pleased to announce a new partnership with MassBioEd. BioCT company members can now access MassBioEd’s professional education courses at the discounted member rate our MassBio colleagues receive.
MassBioEd’s mission is to build and sustain a talented life sciences workforce with a focus on expansion, opportunity and diversity. Industry courses provide individuals with the skills and knowledge to enhance career growth and cultivate a broad professional network. Taught by experts in the field, courses are tailored to ensure content and format maximize interaction and engagement.
