Is your lab on the move? Are you opening a new lab facility? Two new BioCT members provide lab support and services to help make lab transitions easier.
Renovo Solutions: Laboratory relocation is a complex and meticulous process. Mapping out what must be relocated, when materials will arrive, where they need to go, and ensuring resources are effectively allocated helps minimize disruption and hiccups during the relocation process and, ultimately, saves costs while at the same time maximizing safety in lab operations.
Safety Partners: Secure and safe work environments are critical, from initial permitting to job safety analyses, emergency response planning, and safety training. Keeping up-to-date on evolving regulations as well as current best practices for lab safety program delivery, including customized procedures, policies, training, and compliance programs, is critical at all stages of operations.
BioCT’s partnership with MassBioEd provides members with a wide range of professional development options at preferred pricing. Accelerated Leadership focuses on performance in leading life sciences companies and starts on August 20. Biotech Project Management examines critical aspects of project management, including an overview of the drug development process, regulatory agencies, and more, and starts September 5. We at BioCT are incredibly fortunate to have two summer interns, Ximena and Adwoa, respectively a rising senior at Yale University and a recent graduate of Yale University. As a non-profit with limited resources, many were surprised to learn that schools like Yale University offer support, enabling opportunities that might not exist otherwise.
Equally, we are incredibly grateful to the Life-Science SPRINTS initiative for its collective resources and programming this summer—benefiting interns across the life sciences ecosystem in Connecticut. Let’s continue working together to ensure that all academic centers can foster opportunities, institutions can obtain interns, and we entice our best talent to remain here post-graduation!
