BioCT welcomes new member RIGImmune

RIGImmune is a platform preclinical biopharmaceutical startup that was founded in early 2020 out of Yale University. We are developing a new class of therapeutic oligonucleotides called stem loop RNAs (SLRs) that work by selectively activating a protein called retinoic acid inducible gene I (RIG-I). RIG-I acts a surveillance system recognizing common molecular features of RNA viruses, and when activated triggers the innate immune response.
