Arvinas recently held their first-ever “Arvinas Impact Day.”  Nearly 200 of their employees spent time in the community giving back, supporting youth programs and services, and beautifying local parks:

  • At ACES Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet K-8 School, as part of Junior Achievement’s (JA-in-a-Day) In-Classroom Education Program, Arvinas joined educators and took over 18 classrooms, teaching students about financial literacy, careers, and entrepreneurship.
  • At the Solar Youth Facility, a place that empowers youth in high-poverty areas of New Haven by developing programs that foster leadership and problem-solving. Arvinas employees helped to construct garden boxes, create indoor décor, install solar garden lighting, and create educational materials including mindfulness flash cards and writing journals, as well as checkers game boards.
  • Other Arvinas employees rounded out the day by participating in environmental clean-up activities at two locations in New Haven with Save the Sound, a non-profit organization whose mission is to protect and improve the land, air, and water of CT and Long Island Sound.
